Falkirk Council is committed to providing services to children and their families within the communities in which they live.  This is called a Locality Model of service provision, and involves different services and agencies working in partnership to meet the needs of people living locally.  The key agencies working in children’s services in the Denny locality are shown below:

The aim of Denny Locality Support Service is to provide appropriate support at a local level to enable young people and their families to access universal services (e.g. Education, Health, Community Services), and, where appropriate, to access specialist services to meet identified needs.

We recognise that some children may need to cope with difficult situations or experiences in their lives.  Our team can provide support to individual children and their families when facing difficult times.  They may lack confidence, find school or nursery a bit daunting, or they may have experienced a major event at home that makes it difficult to cope with school or everyday activities.  We are here to provide support and advice to help families cope with various situations.  We can also work with groups of children within school or with groups of parents.
