It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Denny High School’s Website and to invite you to step inside to see for yourself what is on offer for staff, pupils and the wider community that both serves, and is served by, the school.
We are proud to build on the traditional values and standards of our school in preparing our young people for their future lives in an increasingly complex and technological society. In particular, we would want them to develop skills and capacities that would assist them in becoming successful lifelong learners, responsible citizens, effective contributors and confident individuals.
We believe that the information conveyed through the website bears testimony to the school’s capacity to meet these challenges in a systematic and planned manner and within a managed framework of partnership between our young people, their teachers, the parent forum and the wider school community.
The website itself is the product of collaboration between staff, pupils and parents and we hope – with your help – that we can continue to improve this vital means of communication so that we are even more able to support the work and vision of the school in its widest sense.
